This web site is dedicated to HAM radio and specially High Performance Software Defined Radios. High Performance with the minimum of hardware.

Recently the SoftRock series of low cost receivers was made available to the public by it’s creator Tony Parks KB9YIG.

Thousands have been sold exposing many hams to the possibilities for high performance with Software Defined Radios. He is currently selling two low cost models the V6 and the V7 SoftRocks. Since these models are available in limited runs, I suggest you get one ASAP and join the fun.

Under the “Project” section there will be hardware projects to improve the SoftRocks or create new SDR implementations. There will also be “programming” projects to allow software development for both Windows and Linux while using free Borland tools for Delphi and CBuilder. These are “work in progress”.

The files section will contain, schematics, pictures, and software tools related to SDR technology. There will also be sections where individuals will be able to store and update information on their projects.

This Web site and it’s sister site contains sub-domains to hosted QRP or SDR related sites. I'm still looking for additional sub-domains to host, if interested send me an email..

SoftRock V5 and hand by N1RX. Electronics on one board and the band components on the other for easy band switching. Note the size of this receiver, the header is for a future transmitting exciter board.
